Reach is a disability switch access platform for the age of IoT. The initial product line incorporates an affordable disability access switch, a bluetooth connector for wired binary output switches, a phone app and an IoT enabled light switch.
The design provides a uniform experience across the platforms. With a quick and simple UI the app provides a overview of devices nearby to make sure that controllers can access the objects nearest to them. The location protocol is proximity based, by telling the smart devices where they are, the system can become context aware.
A project in collaboration with Jieyu Jiang, Da-Eun Lee and
Chema Pastrana. During the project I lead the technical design and manufacture.
