Susuru is a an exploration of how interaction design can be implemented to alter the way we consume fast food, and in Japan there’s nothing faster than ramen.
The dish is incredibly complex with many ingredients hidden within, yet it’s ordered and eaten so quickly that you scarcely have time to savour the dish or relish the ingredients that you are eating.
With our team we set about looking into the core elements of the ordering process and delivering a new way of ordering to put more focus on the ingredients going into the ramen. We designed interventions for each stage of the classic ramen experience. Focusing on fun and showcasing new forms of interaction design.
A project in collaboration with Gabriel Brueckner, Janna Fuller & Lucia Lane Edde. During the project I lead in interaction design, prototyping and installation design.
